Passion
I'm sickening damn tired lah, these few days I felt myself going back to the past again. Blur. haix... its like every day of my week is fully packed now.
Now that I found back the passion in inline skating, and the reason for me to go for every thurs's session, I felt myself to be leading an even meaningful life then before. Outgoing, yes that's what a skater shld hav. And only then can u immerse yourself in the environment. At least that's what I think so far. And with this in mind, I managed to make a couple of new friends in inline!! yeah!! But what's most important when u go there is of course to learn new skills. Girls tend to lose out when learning this type of things, but I'm not discouraged. If boys can do it, why can't the girls do it too?
AND I FINALLY GOT MY T-SHIRT!!! (Now's only left with the cca pts not added yet) I especially find the design in front rather abstract and cute. And finally for now, I dun hav to worry abt what I'm going to wear every Thurs now. hehe..:) I can only say that ever since sch started for this yr, this is the most fun session!! I'll rmb this feeling for sure. After the skating session on Thurs, a whole grp of skaters stayed back for supper at the nearby hawker centre. Chatted with yet again a grp of new-made friends. :)) In the end ended up at home at 11plus. DAMN lethargic!!!
Den comes Fri, lab lesson as per usual released early. Headed to canteen 4 for lunch. I tried the stall with the longest queue, Japanese set(I can't rmb the name now, can only rmb the other Bento set meal) But I know the salmon fish tasted great!! No wonder this stall can be voted as the best. The taste of the sauce, salmon and everything are realli delicious, except for the soup which I think is rather bland. But overall, a 4/5 star rating!! :D
Headed straight to the library afterwards to do the Cats project. I HATE CATS!!!!! The deadline's so rush but every time the thought of after Mon's presentation, we'll be free, my heart will brighten up a little. Until after 6.50pm, went to LT 26.
For.........Lin Yu Zhong's campus concert!!!
How did I get the tickets?? Well well, lucky mi managed to contact with the hms voicebox website ppl. The thing is, I only found out that NP has been giving away free tickets at the atrium for the past few days. =.= Well well, but I still managed to get the tix inside in the end so yeah!!
Nth much for Lin Yu Zhong's concert. Except for the part that he came up and shake his hands with us. But I'm still not very satisfied!!! cos he merely swiped and touched my hands. And my friend sitting beside mi got to shake fully his hand la!!!! ARGHH!!! It's not fair!! But its ok now anw he's not one of my fav. singers, so forget it. There were quite a number of ppl who turned up. Coming from various institutes, even sec sch.The songs he sang were just the normal few, and the game is just freaking LAME AND BORING LA!!!! What model show!!?!@# =.= And again I hav to comment that Singapore's hosts are definitely not as gd as those in other countries, even Malaysia's!!! Tonight's host being Pei Fen. Why?? Because they seriously are too serious in hosting the whole event. Unlike Tao Jing Ying and Xiao Zhu,(I know some of u all here will get excited when u see this name, relax ah...hehe) his hosting style is what I liked too. Sometimes in between a bit here and there, u'll see him adding in some jokes and funny things. So ppl will not get bored easily. I can only admire that they're realli gd at this. S'pore shld try to learn more from them. Seriously.
Surprisingly, the concert ended earlier than expected. Initially thought it'd last for 2 hrs, from 7pm to 9pm. But in the end lasted for only 45 mins, which is only like 8.15pm. Looking at the time, I thought that there's still time for mi to get to Strings Club to practise my guitar. So I went there after that. Left at 9pm, played for only half an hour and I left. Its not enough la. But I'm simply to tired to continue concentrating. Lesson at 9am today, so u can see how long my day is. These few days I'm kept talking crap and saying the wrong things. That's how I am when I'm tired.
But the thing is, I'm glad I found my PASSIONS in both my ccas here. Even though the cca points are like so little, at least I learned smth out of it every time I go!! And I'm starting to enjoy being in Toastmasters Club now too.. Let nature take its own course and see how it goes.
I like how I like what I'm doing and am treating it as a passion. After all, life would not be as interesting without our passion around. =)
