2nd time!!
ytd's such a long and tiring day. didn't get to update any pics up here cos my sis and I forgot to take.
Woke up early in the morning to bathe and go out. Supposed to meet Gary and Shihao at 10.30am, but in the end we were late. By 15 mins.
Den we went down to Jurong Entertainment Centre's K-Box. Looking at the time, I thought it might be late as the thing starts at 11am. So I led the way by walking very fast. But we ended up having to wait still cos the staff there is like so slow la. 11am le still haven open...and it wasted much of our time. den gary they all was like "wah..u so kan-chiong for what?" I'm merely just EXCITED for k-singing!! Its been 4 mths since I last went for K-singing.
And I got to sing songs like "复刻回忆"(as said before in my previous entries)， “伯乐”etc.. but I was realli sad cos there were like so many songs we didn't get to finish at the end. We ended off with Aska's "洋葱" but still didn't get to finish the song cos the 2 boys were like so timid of the k-staff coming to ask us to leave again. But its ok de what, who ask them to waste so much of our time at the beginning. >.<
And its onli from like 11am to 2pm leh, pathetic 3 hrs, I've got so many songs I so- wanted to sing but dun hav the chance to, and I didn't even get to redeem my K-pts at the end cos I found out that onli the K-Lunch hour cannot redeem points. T_T
The k-lunch's there fine for mi, maybe cos I'm not a choosy person. I think out of all the food there, the chicken tasted better cos its a little sweet. But this time's K-lunch not as delicious as my previous other sessions. Its my 6th time singing K..if I'm not wrong.
After that, we headed down to a coffeeshop nearby to have a drink. I ordered 2 cheese burgers, one for my sis, costing mi $1.80 each, quite exp. leh. If not for Gary and shihao, if they hadn't wanted to drink, I wouldn't have bought this too. But overall, the cheese burgers till tasted well too, up to my expectations. A layer of cheese on top, and it was surprisingly to find egg yolk inside too!! shld hav taken a pic down but forgot. Great!! Worth a try for those cheese-lovers!!=) Den shihao's friend, tingyan came. A girl who's younger than mi by 2 yrs, from BPGH and involved in lion-dance troupe. Its cool for a girl to be in it and seldom do I see girls inside too.
Den we went K-pooling until abt 5+, again there goes my $5. sobs..esp. when I dun hav much pocket money during the hols.
After that went to another coffeeshop again for dinner. I was still full so both my sis and I ordered onli barley drinks. Gary and shihao ordered fishbowl noodles cos they wanted to try out whether its realli as gd as what the advertisements said. There were newspaper articles saying "一年内卖出百万粒鱼丸", the fishballs did looked veri Q-ing and tasty. I took a small nap cos I was realli too tired.
And after that we actualli thought of walking to IMM cos its just nearby, but in the end struck at one stall. Wasted half an hour standing there listening to a fortune-telling uncle talking about crap, I don't believe a word he said at all. Def. one of those cheaters again. Seen too many these type of cases. Instead of going to IMM, we ended up looking ard at the pasar malam stalls.
Den went back to the same coffee shop again to eat smth. And u know how food can be a BIG temptation. Due to the fact that I haven had my dinner, I bought a bowl of meepok. It realli do tasted great! Esp. the fishballs!! Initially they thought of going somewhere else for bowling, but I rejected cos I'm realli broke now...
And den Gary challenged my sis to what challenge la. The loser will hav to drink up one whole glass of Heineken. waseh!! Its called the 5-10 game. New to mi..and I managed to learn how to play ytd. My sister's face obviously turned red after drinking one and a half glass. And seeming finishing 2 bottles not enough, Gary ordered 1 more bottle. And Gary "FORCED" mi to play the game with him too. And this became the 2nd time I drank beer. It smelled bitter, AND tasted BITTER too. gross...
So FINALLY they are reluctant to go home. At 11+pm.
Lethargic. That's what I feel the minute I reach home. My eyes were so tired they felt like closing. Its realli a long day out. More than 12 hrs.
Looking forward to another K-singing session again!! Anyone?:)
